I double-checked the internal connections to the SSD with the SATA data and SATA power cables but they seem nicely connected and I still got the same issue. When I clone macOS Catalina to it from my other Mac system, I can boot up the computer when the SSD is connected via USB and it works fine. But it won’t boot up from internal SATA cable. I also tried with the old HD which I also cloned from my other mac and that one works with the SATA-cable.
