This is an informative video where I point out information on how to identify a fake watch. This Fortis B47 GMT Limited edition watch is supposed to be a rar. Both "complete" watches, both kits (dial+case+hands+rotor) missing only a movement, to create a fake watch. As I saw, they are usually sold from the UK, from various accounts. If you search for "Fortis case" you will find them. The watch arrived today and it is severely damaged and not as described. The movement is missing jewels, screws and is mangled around the crown stem. Furthermore, I believe it is a fake. I should have searched here first as I now see that fake Fortis watches are rather common especially on ebay.
I don't know fortis, but just by the plastic movement holder I would go with fake Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The production date is "4 - 70" : It says "WATERPROOP" on the back case: Often the wrong "P" in "WATERPROOP" has been etched out: Or the word "WATERPROOP" has been polished away: On the outer ring the fake versions have "DEPTH IN FEET."Again, I can’t say with absolute certainty that this watch is a fake, but that’s what my gut says. Both Oris and Fortis “vintage” pieces are commonly faked. A quick eBay search will reveal pages of them.
To tell if a watch is fake or not, hold it close to your ear and listen for ticking — designer watches won't tick, so if you hear ticking, it's probably a fake! Also, pay attention to how heavy the watch feels when you hold it.
